But after 27 years as a military spouse, I got through it. I “embraced the suck”. I “managed my expectations”. I was “semper gumby”. I was “Army Wife Strong”.
Joanna doesn’t have a “favorite” charm. “I love them all! I love that my charm bracelet as it tells my story, if someone wants to ask!”

When asked about her most memorable moment as a Spouse, she said, “I think that my most memorable moment was getting my first article published.” She did not want to return to teaching and instead, decided to right an article about advice that was given to her by her spouse when they decided to get married! Soon after, it was picked up by one of the online military spouse magazine and she has been writing for military spouses ever since!
There really are no words. This woman is consummate professional. We didn’t even know what we needed in 2019 when we first hired her. We knew we needed to bring someone on board that could tell us next best steps, answer basic IT questions and assist us in hiring the right people.
