Marine Barracks - Gold

Established in 1801, this is the oldest active post in the Marine Corps and has been the site of the Home of the Commandants since 1806. Also known as "8th and I" because of its location at the corners of 8th and I Streets in Southeast Washington, D.C., the Barracks is home to the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, "The President's Own" Marine Band, the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and “Sgt. Chesty” – the Marine Corps’ English bulldog mascot. Our .925 sterling silver charm depicts the “8th & I” logo and is accented with translucent gold enamel.

This .925 silver charm is part of our military jewelry collection, which features more items that honor our armed forces. Browse our website to share your unique story.
