MacDill AFB
Located about 6 miles southwest of Tampa, FL, MacDill Air Force Base is home to Air Mobility Command’s 6th Air Mobility Wing, as well as the United States Central Command and Special Operations Command. In nearby Tampa, Gasparilla is an annual festival named after the legendary pirate, Gaspar, who besieged Tampa's coastal waters. In 1904, Tampa leaders adopted the pirate as patron rogue of their citywide celebration and a tradition was born. To commemorate this local tradition, our MacDill charm is a .925 sterling silver pirate’s head with black accents on the hat and eye patch, and “MacDill AFB” inscribed on the back.
This .925 silver charm is part of our military jewelry collection, which features more items that honor our armed forces. Browse our website to share your unique story.
