Lackland Air Force Base is named after Brigadier General Frank Lackland and is now part of Joint Base San Antonio. It is in San Antonio, TX, an area rich with Hispanic and Mexican cultural influences and traditions. One such tradition is the annual Fiesta San Antonio. Started as a single event in 1891 to honor the memory of the battles of The Alamo and San Jacinto, it has grown into an annual 10-day festival with over 100 events. Our Lackland charm is a .925 sterling silver sombrero with colored accents on the brim and “Lackland AFB TX” inscribed on the bottom.
