The 319th Air Base Wing, one of only three “super tanker” wings, is the host unit aboard Grand Forks AFB, which is located a few miles west of the city of Grand Forks in northeastern North Dakota. Known for large temperature swings over short periods of time, Grand Forks has garnered the nickname “The Sunflake City” and provided us with the perfect inspiration for our charm: a “sunflake” crafted from .925 sterling silver and accented yellow and blue enamels and yellow crystals. “Grand Forks AFB ND” is inscribed on the back.
