Fort Leavenworth

Dating to 1827, Fort Leavenworth is the oldest continuously active Army post west of the Mississippi River. Located just northeast of Kansas City, KS, this post has evolved from an isolated frontier fort safeguarding westward expansion to become the Intellectual Center of the Army. Commemorating the vast herds of buffalo that roamed the Kansas prairies during Fort Leavenworth’s early days, our charm is a .925 sterling silver buffalo inscribed on the back with “Ft Leavenworth KS”.
