First activated in 1917 and currently based out of Camp Lejeune, NC, 3rd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment has served in many engagements around the world. Also, known as “Teufelhunden”, legend has it that the Battalion earned its nickname after their defeat of German forces in the Battle of Belleau Wood during World War I. Our charm is a .925 sterling silver rendition of the 3/6 insignia accented with blue enamel and inscribed with “3/6 Marines” and “Teufelhunden” around the border.
