When Serena came on staff in 2016/2017 with Nomadés, I think her plan was a “little” part time job. Who would have known 8 years later she would be our Logistics Manager? She runs and maintains our warehouse and inventory and oversees shipping in Colorado, where she calls home.

Serena, who is one of only 2 staff members not affiliated in some way with the military, thoroughly enjoys having this tiny connection to something as big as the military community.

Serena’s favorite charm is Kirtland AFB, mainly because 1. It’s adorable and 2. She loves adventure and gaining perspective. “Heights tend to remind us how big the world is and how small we are.”

Serena has a treasure trove of gifts and talents. She’s a singer (which will be a shocker to most of our staff, because when we have Karaoke at events, she always seems to disappear.) She has been a missionary to Africa. If our company was The Office, she would be 70% Pam, 20% Phyllis and 10% Dwight.

The best advice she has ever been given is: “The safest place to be is in God's will.”
