Special Forces - The Special Forces Group, also known as the Green Berets, have a distinctive insignia that incorporates elements of their proud heritage. The crossed arrows were originally worn by Indian Scouts of the 1800's, then were authorized as collar insignia for personnel assigned to the First Special Service Force during World War I. The V42 fighting knife was designed especially for the First Special Service Force, and the Motto of the Special Forces, "De Oppressor Liber" means "To Free the Oppressed". Our charm is a .925 sterling silver replica of Special Forces Regimental Insignia accented with black enamel.
