Signal Corps – Although the first Signal Corps Soldiers were employed during the Civil War, it wasn’t until the late 1800s that the first permanent Signal Corps units were authorized. Since then, the Army Signal Corps has grown steadily in size and complexity to become what is now an essential component of modern warfare, encompassing everything from development to management of communications and information systems. Our charm, crafted from .925 sterling silver, is a reproduction of their branch insignia accented with red and white enamels. The words “Signal” and “Corps” are inscribed on banners above and below the insignia.
