Submarine Service Insignia – Consisting of a submarine flanked by two heraldic dolphins, the Submarine Service Insignia is authorized for wear by personnel qualified in submarine duty. The qualification process includes training in the use, operation and interrelationship between all systems on board, with the goal of providing each crewmember with the training to operate under pressure and to combat casualties anywhere on the submarine. Our charm is a .925 sterling silver replica of the Submarine Service Insignia with “Silent Service” inscribed on the back.
