NB Yokosuka
Located 18 miles south of Yokohama, Japan, Naval Base Yokosuka is the largest overseas U.S. Naval installation in the world. Its mission is to maintain and operate base facilities for the logistics, recreational, and administrative support and services of forward-deployed U.S. Naval Forces, and it is considered one of the most strategically important U.S. military bases. To honor our continuing partnership with Japan, our charm is a .925 sterling silver Torii, a traditional Japanese gate found at the entrances to Shinto and Buddhist shrines and often used as a symbol of Japan. The charm is accented with red enamel and has a placard inscribed with “NB Yokosuka” on the front and “Japan” on the back.
This .925 silver charm is part of our military jewelry collection, which features more items that honor our armed forces. Browse our website to share your unique story.
