Langley AFB

From biplane to blimp to jet fighter, this Virginia base has been at the heart of military air power since 1916 and is now a part of Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Early in Langley Air Force Base’s history, the hydrogen-filled dirigible, or blimp, was an important airship, and part of the base is still referred to as the LTA, or Lighter Than Air, area. This .925 sterling silver charm is a 3-dimensional replica of a blimp with “LANGLEY AFB VA” on one side and a star within a circle on the other side.
