Hickam AFB
Hickam Air Force Base, now part of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, is located on the island of Oahu, HI, a state whose surrounding waters are full of tropical fish. One notable fish is Hawaii’s state fish, the reef triggerfish. This fish is also known by its Hawaiian name, Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, or humuhumu for short, which means "fish that grunts like a pig" for the sound it makes when cornered or caught. Our Hickam charm is a .925 sterling silver humuhumu accented with a blue gem eye, and black and transparent yellow enamels. It is inscribed with “Hickam AFB HI” on the back.
This .925 silver charm is part of our military jewelry collection, which features more items that honor our armed forces. Browse our website to share your unique story.
