Andersen AFB
Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, is home to the 36th Wing, one of the Air Force’s 4 bomber forward locations. Guam has been a U.S. territory since the late 1800’s, but the Chamorro people have inhabited the island for over 1500 years. The early Chamorro built unique houses using solid coral pillars topped with hemi-spherical capstones as foundations for their wood and thatched-roof houses. These pillars, known as Latte Stones, can be found all over Guam. Our charm is a .925 sterling silver Latte Stone accented with pink flowers and a green palm tree. Guam’s traditional greeting, “Hafa Adai” is inscribed on the back, and “Andersen AFB Guam” is inscribed on the capstone.
This .925 silver charm is part of our military jewelry collection, which features more items that honor our armed forces. Browse our website to share your unique story.
